Dice
Roll 0 to 99.99. Win over or under your target.
Overview
Dice is the simplest provably-fair game on X24. Pick a target between 0.01 and 99.99, choose 'over' or 'under', place your bet. A random number rolls. If it clears your target, you win at a multiplier inversely proportional to the probability. One decision per round — cleanest possible casino math.
How to play Dice
- 1Set a target number (0.01–99.99) and choose direction: 'roll over' or 'roll under'.
- 2The multiplier updates automatically based on win probability: lower chance = higher multiplier.
- 3Place your bet. Result rolls instantly — a single random number derived from HMAC-SHA256.
- 4If roll matches your direction, you win bet × multiplier. Otherwise, lose bet.
- 5Every round is independent. No stacking, no session state.
The math
Multiplier = (99 / winChance), where winChance is (100 − target) for 'over' or (target) for 'under'. Target 50.50 'over' → 48.51% chance → 2.04x multiplier. Target 95 'over' → 4.50% chance → 22x. Target 99 'over' → 0.99% chance → 99x. The casino's 1% edge is baked into the '99' numerator.
Strategy notes
- →Low target + under (e.g., 2.00 under) = 2% chance, 49x payoff. Very high variance.
- →Medium targets (40–60) = near-even money plays. Low variance grinding.
- →Martingale (doubling after loss) works until a bad streak bankrupts you. Don't.
- →Auto-betting is common on Dice — set a target, stake, and number of bets, let it run. Useful for bonus-clearing wagering.
FAQ
Is Dice really 99% RTP?▾
Yes, exactly. The 99 in the multiplier formula IS the house edge made visible. No hidden margins.
Can I verify my roll was fair?▾
Yes. Any Dice roll can be recomputed from revealed server seed + your client seed + nonce. The math is HMAC-SHA256 → first 8 hex → number between 0.00 and 99.99.
What's the highest multiplier possible?▾
Target 99.99 'over' = 0.01% chance = ~9,900x multiplier. Rare but possible — still 1% edge on the payoff.
